The race is known as The Donard and Commedagh Mountain Race and covers 10.9 kms with 1050m of climb.
It starts in Donard Park in Newcastle, County Down in Northern Ireland and proceeded to the Quarry, the summit cairn of Slieve Donard, the summit cairn of slieve Commedagh and back to finish in Donard Park.
Slieve Donard is the highest mountain in Northern Ireland at 850m.
