These are the slides I had prepared to show at my camera club on 20th April 2026. Due to technical problems I was unable to show them. I did talk to some of the photographs on the evening. My topic was shooting sport in the 80s.
I chose this topic because my club had an evening previously talking about film cameras. I talked about the film cameras I had used in the 80s. I decided that in my talk about Sport I would show and talk about some of the photographs taken with these film cameras.
It was an interesting exercise to prepare for this talk and the big takeaway was the differences between film and digital, certainly for sports photography.
